Niagara Spanish Academy — Terms and Conditions
1. Class Options
Niagara Spanish Academy (NSA) offers the following programs:
- Group Classes: Spanish for Beginners, Intermediate, Travellers, Conversational and Kids.
- Private Sessions
- Semi-Private Sessions
All classes are available in-person or online via Zoom.
2. Attendance and Make-Up Policy
- Group Classes: Group sessions follow a set schedule. If a student misses a class, no make-up class or refund will be provided. However, instructors may share class materials or homework to help students catch up.
- -Private and Semi-Private Sessions: Students must provide at least 48 hours notice to reschedule a private or semi-private class. - Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice will result in the loss of that session. -Consistent last-minute cancellations may affect future scheduling.
3. Class Materials
NSA provides all necessary learning materials, such as worksheets and practice activities.
If a student requests specialized or customized materials (e.g., business Spanish, industry-specific vocabulary), additional costs may apply.
4. Online Sessions
- Online sessions are conducted through Zoom.
- Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, a working camera and microphone, and a quiet learning environment.
- NSA is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s side during class.
5. Payments
- Full Payment is required at registration.
- Accepted methods: E-transfer, cash, or other pre-approved options.
- A full refund will be issued when a group class is cancelled due to insufficient enrolment.
- If you withdraw or cancel registration at least a week prior to the start date, a full refund will be issued.
- If you withdraw or cancel registration a week or less from the start of class date, there will be no refund.
- Payments are non-refundable once the course begins.
6. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to:
- Arrive on time for in-person and online sessions.
- Participate respectfully and positively in the learning environment.
- Refrain from recording sessions without prior consent.
7. Changes and Cancellations by NSA
Niagara Spanish Academy reserves the right to reschedule or cancel classes when necessary (e.g., instructor illness or emergencies).
In such cases, NSA will provide reasonable notice and offer an alternate date or class credit.
8. Agreement
By enrolling in any class or submitting the registration form, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
